You know, with such a target rich environment you’d think I’d post more.
Yeah, except once the cheetoh won the election, it really sapped my will to live. It took me a long time to recover from the knowledge of how many people in this country really, really hate women, brown and queer people.
So, I had to focus on a lot of things that weren’t politics in a desperate bid to keep my head above water mentally. The good news is I did go back into therapy. I’m working out as an anger outlet.
So I’m gonna try to post here more often. Right now I’m trying to sort out how I feel about a bunch of things and write about how to combat the constant assault on the poor, on reproductive rights, racist bullshit (I’ll be trying to mostly boost the voices of the marginalized there), and on survival.
I’ll probably cross-post a blog post from the Geek Girls Rule! blog concerning the panel I did with friends at Geek Girl Con, “The Handmaid’s Tale, Bitch Planet, and the Politics of Women’s Bodies. ”
I’ll keep you all posted and try to hit this about once a week.
