Long Time No See
Yeah, well, life happened.
A lot of life happened.
My parents moved to Houston, and guess who got to spend two months cleaning out their hoarder pile with her pregnant sister. (One clue, rhymes with Shmolimicks.)
My grandmother died the last week of April, so I flew back to Michigan.
Then a room-mate decided to move out.
The next week our car died.
Then my husband went down to San Diego to help someone move.
The Elderly Black Cat wasn’t eating well without him here to cater to her every whim.
I went back to Michigan again (first time being the funeral), for a week long trip with my family.
And I started a new job a week and a half ago.
On the plus side, car is now fixed, NEW JOB, I got to see Lake Superior for the first time since I was a child, family reunion, and my other grandmother is doing fine, and has, at 87, taken up yoga. Although, I have to tell you, my uncle’s fourth wife could give lessons on how not to behave at a fucking funeral. Oh… my… god… you have no idea.
Seriously, 2013 has kicked my ass up one side of the street and down the other, but then decided to buy me chocolate, or something.
So, I’m hoping to be able to be a little more regular here, or at least not go months and months and months without a post again.
So, I apologize for being gone for so long, but… life. What are you going to do?
PS, Don’t worry. I haven’t given up being outraged. Not in the least.
